Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko on Thursday approved the prosecution of Garissa Governor Nathif Jama Adan over the irregular leasing of ambulance services.<br />DPP Keriako Tobiko agreed with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission that there was sufficient evidence to sustain the charges against Governor Jama and seven other officials.<br /><br />“Having independently reviewed the file, I agree with EACC that there is sufficient evidence disclosed against the Governor and other country officials and therefore directed that prosecutions should ensue as recommended by EACC,” Tobiko directed.
